Clarksdale, Mississippi– Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (NWRMRC) has announced that its After-Hours Clinic will permanently close, effective January 5, 2026, marking the end of a service that has long provided extended care options for patients outside of regular business hours.

In a public notice released this week, NWRMRC expressed appreciation to patients and families who have relied on the clinic for their healthcare needs over the years. Hospital officials acknowledged the trust the community placed in the After-Hours Clinic and emphasized gratitude for the opportunity to serve.

“While this decision was not made lightly, we remain committed to supporting our patients through this transition,” the notice stated.

Patients with questions regarding the closure or concerns about ongoing and future care are encouraged to contact NWRMRC directly to discuss alternative care options. Hospital representatives indicated they are available to help guide patients toward appropriate services to ensure continuity of care.

The closure of the After-Hours Clinic reflects ongoing changes in healthcare delivery across the region, as medical facilities continue to evaluate services in response to staffing, operational, and community needs.

NWRMRC concluded its announcement by thanking the community for its continued support and trust, reaffirming its commitment to patient care through its remaining services.

For additional information or assistance with care arrangements, patients are advised to reach out to NWRMRC directly.
