Clarksdale, Mississippi — It’s that time of year again—caps are in the air, tassels are turning, and the sounds of celebration are echoing across the Mississippi Delta. Graduation season is officially underway, and communities throughout Clarksdale and beyond are proudly honoring the achievements of the Class of 2026.

From Clarksdale Municipal School District and Coahoma County School District to Lee Academy, Quitman County, Bolivar County, and surrounding schools, seniors are preparing to walk the stage and step into a new season of life. This year’s graduating class has proven themselves through academic success, athletic accomplishments, artistic talent, and meaningful community involvement.

Behind every diploma is a story, one of resilience, determination, and growth. These graduates have led organizations, excelled in the classroom, competed at high levels in sports, and given their time to serve others. Their journeys reflect the strength and spirit of the Mississippi Delta.

As they move forward—whether to college campuses, career paths, military service, or trade programs—these young men and women carry with them the hopes of their families and the pride of their communities. The future is bright, and it belongs to them.

The Mississippi Delta Advocate News is calling on the community to help us celebrate these graduates in a special Graduation Tribute. Families are encouraged to submit a photo along with a short write-up highlighting their senior’s accomplishments and future plans. Submissions can be sent to info@msdeltaadvocate.news for a chance to be featured.

Let’s show up and show out for the Class of 2026. Their moment is here, and the Delta is cheering them on every step of the way.

Congratulations, Class of 2026!
The journey continues, and your story is just getting started.
