Clarksdale, Mississippi– Clarksdale residents are invited to gather for an afternoon of fellowship, inspiration and women’s health awareness during a special “Lunch & Meet” event welcoming Dr. Kesha Flantroy, OB/GYN, to the Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center Women’s Clinic care team.
The community event will take place Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 12 p.m. at the NWMRMC Women’s Clinic, located at 2000 North State Street, Suite A, in Clarksdale.
Designed to bring women together in an atmosphere of support and connection, the event will provide community members an opportunity to meet Dr. Flantroy and learn more about the women’s healthcare services available locally.
In addition to the luncheon, organizers will host a special dedication ceremony for the “Sisterhood Closet” beginning at 11:45 a.m. The initiative is sponsored by several local sorority organizations committed to uplifting and supporting women throughout the community.
Participating organizations include the Clarksdale Marks Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the Iota Delta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Organizers say the event is more than just a welcome celebration. It is also an opportunity to highlight the importance of sisterhood, wellness and accessible healthcare for women in the Mississippi Delta.
Guests attending the event can expect lunch, community fellowship and an encouraging environment focused on health, empowerment and connection.

Community members are encouraged to attend and help officially welcome Dr. Flantroy to the Clarksdale healthcare community while celebrating women’s health and unity.
