JACKSON, Miss. (June 22, 2026) — The Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health (IAMH), in partnership with Walgreens, will host a National HIV Testing Day Community Event on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walgreens, 1100 N. Davis Ave., Cleveland, MS 38732.

The event is part of IAMH’s ongoing efforts to increase awareness, reduce stigma and expand access to HIV prevention and testing services in communities across Mississippi. Community members are invited to stop by for free HIV testing, receive fast, confidential results, and take an important step toward knowing their status and protecting their health. As an added incentive, all participants will receive a $25 Visa gift card while supplies last.

National HIV Testing Day is a reminder that knowing your HIV status is one of the most important steps you can take for your health.  Observed annually, National HIV Testing Day promotes HIV testing, early diagnosis and connection to care. Events like this help break down barriers to testing by offering services in convenient, community-based settings where people can access care without judgment or fear.
