CLARKSDALE, Miss. — The Zeta Psi Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated held its Executive Board Retreat on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 1002 McKinley Street in Clarksdale.
The retreat provided executive board members with an opportunity to come together for fellowship, leadership development, and meaningful discussions focused on strengthening the chapter and its leadership.
The retreat was moderated by Executive Board Chair Sherley Fields. Chapter President Sharon Campbell and Fields welcomed participants and offered greetings as the afternoon’s activities began.
Key topics discussed during the retreat included executive board responsibilities, membership, and officer duties. Discussions emphasized the importance of effective leadership, accountability, communication, teamwork, and a shared commitment to the mission and values of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
To encourage fellowship and team building, participants took part in icebreaker games and activities, with prizes awarded throughout the retreat. Refreshments were also served, giving members an opportunity to connect in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Executive Board Retreat provided a productive and engaging experience while reinforcing the theme of “Leading With Grace, Governing With Wisdom, Serving With Commitment.”
The retreat also helped prepare executive board members for continued leadership and service to the chapter and the Clarksdale community.
