That impressive number places CCSD among the elite districts across the state of Mississippi — a powerful reflection of hard work, commitment, and a relentless focus on student success.
According to rankings released by the Mississippi Department of Education, Coahoma County School District stands proudly at No. 8 statewide. In a list dominated by some of Mississippi’s highest-performing districts, CCSD has proven that excellence is alive and well right here in the Delta.

With a 97.3% graduation rate, CCSD stands shoulder to shoulder with districts posting rates between 97% and 100%. The Top 10 list includes:
- Mississippi School of the Arts – 100%
- Union Public School District – 100%
- Mississippi School for Math and Science – 99.1%
- Benton County School District – 98.3%
- Alcorn School District – 98.2%
- West Jasper Consolidated School District – 97.5%
